Tug of War Competition: MBBS Students of VAMC & RH Showcase Team Spirit and Enthusiasm

The first year MBBS students of Varun Arjun Medical College (VAMC) & Rohilkhand Hospital (RH), Shahjahanpur, under Varun Arjun University (VAU), UP, participated in a Tug of War competition organized on 30th November 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Mohd Shadab, Sports Incharge, and Mr. Aman Awasthi, Sports Teacher. The event was efficiently managed by the organizing committee of the 2023 batch, ensuring smooth arrangements and a well-coordinated competition.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from MBBS students, who displayed remarkable teamwork, coordination, and competitive spirit. The winners were congratulated, and all participants were appreciated for their active involvement and sportsmanship. The event provided a platform for students to engage in physical activity, strengthen camaraderie, and promote healthy competition within the campus.
The programme was held under the guidance and support of the college management of VAU, including Dr. Keshav Agarwal, Chancellor VAU; Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor VAU; Dr.Lata Agarwal, Vice Chancellor of Bareilly International University; and Dr. Kiran Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor, VAU while Dr. (Col) R. N. Shukla, Dean and Principal, personally encouraged the participants and commended the students and organizing committee for their dedication and enthusiasm. The students also received support and encouragement from Dr. Thimmaraju KV, Head of the Department of Biochemistry, which added further motivation for their active participation.

The event reflects the institution’s commitment to the holistic development of students, promoting not only physical fitness but also collaboration, discipline, and a spirit of teamwork among the students.
