Table Tennis Tournament: 1st-Year MBBS Students of Varun arjun medical college display Skill and Sportsmanship

The 1st-year MBBS students of Varun Arjun Medical College (VAMC) & Rohilkhand Hospital (RH), Shahjahanpur, under Varun Arjun University (VAU), UP, participated in a Table Tennis Tournament organized on 23rd November 2025 under the guidance of Dr. Mohd Shadab, Sports Incharge. The event was smoothly conducted by the organizing committee of the 2023 MBBS batch, ensuring well-planned arrangements and seamless coordination.

The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from the students, who demonstrated excellent skill, focus, and competitive spirit. Winners were felicitated, and all participants were acknowledged for their active involvement, determination, and sportsmanship. The event offered an opportunity for students to exhibit their talent, engage in friendly competition, and strengthen camaraderie on campus.

The programme was held with the support and encouragement of the college management of VAU, including Dr. Keshav Agarwal, Chancellor of VAU; Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor of VAU; Dr. Lata Agarwal, Vice Chancellor of Bareilly International University; and Dr. Kiran Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor of VAU. Dr. (Col) R. N. Shukla, Dean and Principal of VAMC, personally motivated the participants and appreciated the efforts of the students and the organizing committee. Vice Principal Dr. Santhanakrishnan also extended his support and encouraged the students to actively participate.

The tournament reflects the institution’s commitment to holistic student development, fostering not only physical fitness but also discipline, teamwork, and a spirit of healthy competition among the students.
