Winter Wibes 2025, a Campus Community Food and Fun Fest, was successfully conducted at the Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital campus, under Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur (U.P.), on 18 December 2025. This unique initiative, organized for the first time on campus, was managed by the children of faculty members with the active support and guidance of their parents, reflecting a family-centric and inclusive institutional ethos.
The event was envisioned with the objective of promoting interaction, inclusivity, and a sense of togetherness within the academic environment, while also providing opportunities for the personal and social development of young children. A variety of food stalls were set up, showcasing creativity, responsibility, and teamwork among the young organizers. The programme was meticulously planned and smoothly executed, resulting in enthusiastic participation and a warm, positive ambience across the campus.
Winter Wibes 2025 witnessed the active presence of faculty members, undergraduate students, and postgraduate residents. The event underscored the importance of such institutional initiatives in strengthening bonds within the campus community and fostering engagement beyond routine academic activities. The involvement of faculty families added a distinctive and meaningful dimension, nurturing confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of social responsibility among the children, while reinforcing camaraderie and mutual respect among faculty, staff, and students.
The event received high appreciation from the Dean and Principal, Dr. (Col.) R. N. Shukla, who commended the collective efforts involved in organizing the fest and emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting institutional harmony, well-being, and a supportive work environment. He, along with several attendees, expressed the desire to organize Winter Wibes on a larger scale in the coming years, with broader participation and expanded outreach.
The initiative was also applauded by the esteemed patrons of the institution, including the Hon’ble Chancellor of Varun Arjun University, Dr. Keshav Agarwal; Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Ashok Agarwal; Vice Chancellor of Bareilly International University, Dr. Lata Agarwal; and Vice Chancellor of Varun Arjun University, Dr. Kiran Agarwal, who appreciated the commitment, coordination, and community-oriented spirit demonstrated by the organizers.
The programme was further graced by the presence of Dr. Anil Pal, Deputy Registrar of Varun Arjun University; Dr. Amit Singh, Deputy Medical Superintendent; and Mr. Lalit Chauhan, Administrative Officer, reflecting strong administrative encouragement and institutional support. The programme was conceptualized by Dr. Poornima S. Bhat, ENT Professor and Dr. Reetika Gairola Consultant Dentist, along with other family members of the faculty, whose collective efforts laid the foundation for this community-oriented event.
