Celebrating Swami Vivekananda’s Legacy: 6th National Youth Day at Varun Arjun University

Varun Arjun University, Banthra-Shahjahanpur, organized the 6th National Youth Day on January 12, 2026, marking the 164th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in a dignified, inspiring, and patriotic atmosphere. The event, hosted in collaboration with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), saw active participation from students, teachers, administrative officials, and guests from various faculties and colleges. It commenced with lamp lighting and floral tributes before the idols of Maa Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda’s portrait, followed by a devotional Saraswati Vandana that infused the auditorium with spirituality and positive energy. Chief guest Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Shri Rajnish Kumar was joined by distinguished guests including ABVP’s Prant Sachiv (Braj) Shri Anand Katheria, Mahanagar Adhyaksh Dr. Renu Dubey, Jila Sanyojak Shri Vaibhav Saxena, Prant Farmavision Sanyojak Shri Akash Massey, Vibhag Sangathan Mantri Shri Rahul Gangwar, and Mahanagar Mantri Shri Ayush Shrivastava. They were welcomed by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Lekhraj Verma, Deputy Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, Vice-Principal of Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital Dr. Santhann Krishnan, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, and Administrative Officer Shri Lalit Kumar Singh with shawls and mementos. Event coordinators Dr. Amit Kumar Singh and Shri Vaibhav Saxena ensured smooth execution.In their addresses, Shri Rajnish Kumar urged students to embrace Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of confidence, discipline, and service to make India the ‘Vishwaguru’; Shri Anand Katheria highlighted ABVP’s role in nation-building; Dr. Renu Dubey emphasized women’s empowerment with the slogan “Nari tu abla nahi, nari tu hai rashtra shakti – pran shakti”; Shri Vaibhav Saxena recalled Vivekananda’s Chicago speech; Shri Akash Massey called for organized youth power in health sectors; Shri Rahul Gangwar and Shri Ayush Shrivastava stressed discipline and active participation. University officials like Dr. Lekhraj Verma, Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, Dr. Santhann Krishnan, Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, and Shri Lalit Kumar Singh spoke on holistic development, duty, and health service. The evening featured live streaming of “Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue 2026” Prime Minister session across auditoriums, with enthusiastic student participation. Other attendees included Shri Akshay Saxena, Dr. Prasad Murgu, Shri Mohammad Junaid, Smt. Ayushi Saxena, Ms. Akanksha Rathore, Shri Nagendra Singh, and Ms. Divya Verma. The event concluded with resounding chants of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” inspiring youth for nation-building
