He has contributed significantly to policy development, SOP implementation, staff training, and healthcare delivery in both peacetime and combat settings, including the Kargil War, and was instrumental in establishing COVID-19 diagnostic facilities across military hospitals. Currently, he serves as Principal of Paramedical Sciences and Head of Pathology at Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur, following notable tenures at Bangalore Baptist Hospital and various military medical institutions nationwide. An alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, with an MD in Pathology and an MBBS, Dr. Chatterjee is fluent in English, Hindi, Bengali, and Nepali, and is widely respected for his capabilities in quality management, conflict resolution, strategic healthcare planning, and medical innovation.
