Military-Civilian Partnership: Varun Arjun Medical College Signs MoA with Military Hospital Bareilly Cantt

A significant Memorandum of Agreement (M.O.A.) was signed between the Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital (VAMCHRH) and the Military Hospital, Bareilly Cantt. This landmark agreement ensures that serving military personnel and their families will receive comprehensive medical services in Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, Shahjahanpur.
​The M.O.A was signed by Commandant Brigadier Dr. Kiran S on behalf of the Military Hospital and President Dr. Ashok Kumar Agarwal representing the Medical College.
​This initiative aims to provide accessible, timely, and high-quality medical care to soldiers in the Shahjahanpur region.
​The agreement covers all medical facilities, including Outpatient, Inpatient, Diagnostics, and Surgical services, provided at CGHS rates. Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital announced the establishment of a special help desk for rapid assistance to military families, and a coordination committee will be formed to ensure smooth implementation.
​Brigadier Dr. Kiran S called the agreement a “highly beneficial step” for armed forces personnel, emphasizing that Varun Arjun Medical College is an advanced institution with expert physicians and modern equipment. Acting Station Commander Colonel Jagveer Singh Jaglan stressed that protecting the health of the soldiers who dedicate their lives to the nation is equally essential.
​President of Varun Arjun Trust Ashok Kumar Agarwal stated that the collaboration is not merely a formal agreement but a reflection of the institution’s “responsibility towards the nation.”
Vice-president of Varun Arjun Trust Dr. Kiran Agarwal affirmed the college’s commitment to providing the best services with “human sensitivity and affection.”
Principal and Dean of Varun Arjun Medical College Dr. (Col) Ravindra Nath Shukla, expressed confidence that the partnership would provide care with the necessary discipline and respect.
​The M.O.A. is celebrated as a moment of pride for Varun Arjun University, marking the beginning of a new chapter in nation-building by combining health services with the spirit of patriotism.
