Free health fair on Feb 18, 2026 in Makrandpur village, Jaitipur area

Varun Arjun University, Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, Shahjahanpur, organized a free health fair on February 18, 2026 (Wednesday) in Makrandpur village, Jaitipur area. Of 527 registered patients, 10 were diagnosed with cataracts for free surgery at the hospital. Free screenings included blood sugar tests for 107 patients and blood pressure checks for 97, with medicines distributed to 465 and discount coupons for MRI, CT scans, and other tests.The health team and PRO educated attendees on regular check-ups and the Family Health Card (₹200, valid 1 year), offering free OPD slips/admission files, 20% off medicines/tests, 25% on general surgeries, and 10% on blood needs. Hospital perks include free beds, nursing, consultations, plus 24/7 affordable surgeries, ICU, ventilators, dialysis, MRI/CT/ultrasound. Social workers Brajesh Mishra and Ramnaresh Dixit contributed notably. Specialists Dr. Kush Patel, Dr. Deepak, Dr. Shubhangi Singh, Dr. Tejal, Dr. Mayank Yadav, Dr. Khushboo Devani (General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Obstetrics), PRO Vipin Sharma, and paramedics attended.
