A free health fair was organized on Saturday, 28 March 2026, in Badshahanagar village of Dadaul area, jointly arranged by Varun Arjun University, Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthara, Shahjahanpur, and Awadh Sugar & Energy Limited, Roza, Shahjahanpur. The health camp was inaugurated by Shri Arvind Kumar Singh, Hon’ble MLA of Dadaul, who appreciated such camps for raising health awareness and providing free treatment at the doorstep to people who cannot visit hospitals, and requested the college management to organize more such camps in his constituency.
Key services and statistics
- A total of 762 patients registered at the camp.
- Free blood‑sugar tests were conducted for 157 patients and free blood‑pressure checks for about 232 patients.
- Free medicines were distributed to 687 patients, and discounted coupons for MRI, CT‑scan, and other investigations were also given to them.
Awareness and health‑card information
The health team and P.R.O., Vipin Sharma, urged people to undergo regular check‑ups and informed them about the “Family Health Card” issued by the hospital for ₹200, valid for one year. They explained that cardholders would get:
- Free OPD slips.
- An extra 20% discount on medicines and investigations.
- Free admission file if admitted, 25% discount on general surgery, and 10% discount in case of blood requirement.
They also highlighted that the hospital offers free admission, free bed, free nursing care, free medical consultation, low‑cost operations, medicines, ICU, ventilator, dialysis, MRI, CT‑scan, ultrasound, etc., on economical rates 24×7.

The camp was staffed by doctors and paramedical staff from multiple departments of Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, including General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and ENT, along with P.R.O. Vipin Sharma. Special credit was given to the contributions of Pankaj Goyanka, Abdhesh Gupta, Pradeep Tomar, Dinesh Pratap Singh, Sureshpalsingh, Ajaypal Singh, Achal Dixit, Naveen Kumar Singh, Rahul Kumar Tiwari, Hitanshu Dixit, Rohit Rana, Vibita Saxena, and several others.
