Varun Arjun University, along with Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, organized a free Orthopedic Health Camp at the Urban Health Center, Lalpur, Kanth Road, Shahjahanpur, on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
A total of 175 patients registered and received free medical consultations and examinations. During the camp, 80 patients underwent free blood pressure checks, while 58 patients received free blood sugar testing. Free medicines were distributed to 150 patients. Discount coupons for diagnostic tests, CT scans, and MRI examinations were also provided.
The medical team educated patients about the orthopedic services available at the hospital, including treatment for arthritis, joint pain, back pain, sciatica, leg weakness, numbness and tingling in the legs, neck pain, spinal disorders, congenital deformities of the hands and feet, bone infections, bone tuberculosis, and chronic bone wounds with pus discharge. Information was also provided regarding knee and hip replacement surgeries, plaster treatment and surgical management of fractures, ICU facilities, and affordable orthopedic surgeries.
Patients were informed about the Family Health Card, available for ₹200 and valid for one year. Cardholders receive free OPD registration, a 20% discount on medicines and diagnostic tests, and free admission file charges upon hospitalization.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of orthopedic specialist *Dr. Ishan* and his medical team. Paramedical staff and Medical College PRO *Vipin Sharma* were also present during the event.
