Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthara, Shahjahanpur, under the banner of Varun Arjun University, organized a Free Pediatric Medical Camp on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Municipal Town Hall, Tilhar. The camp was conducted with the aim of providing quality pediatric healthcare services to children and creating awareness about child health among the local community.
During the camp, patients received free medical consultations and health check-ups. Free blood pressure and blood sugar tests were conducted, and essential medicines were distributed without any cost. Patients were also provided with expert medical advice and discount coupons for diagnostic investigations, including CT scans and MRI scans. In addition, patients visiting Rohilkhand Hospital after the camp will be eligible for free laboratory investigations such as CBC, KFT, LFT, and Blood Sugar tests.

During the awareness session, the Pediatric Department and the Medical PRO encouraged parents to ensure regular health check-ups for their children. They highlighted the advanced pediatric facilities available at the hospital, including a fully equipped Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) operating 24 hours a day. Specialized services such as phototherapy, exchange transfusion, surfactant therapy, and CPAP support are available for critically ill newborns and children.
