Successful Organization of the Second Day of National Forensic Week by the Faculty of Forensic Science, Varun Arjun University – Date: 07-10-2025
The B.Sc. Forensic Science Department of Varun Arjun University organized a three-day National Forensic Week, the second day of which was successfully conducted on 07 October 2025.
On this occasion, the esteemed dignitaries of the university – Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Dr. Ashok Agrawal, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kiran Agrawal, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. L.R. Verma, Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, Administrative Officer Dr. Lalit Sir, Principal (Pharmacy) Dr. Pradeep Singh, Professor (ENT Department), Dr Purnima S. Bhatt, and Assistant Professors (Forensic Science), Dr Mansi Agrawal, (Assistant Professor Pharmacy), Ms. Eshika Saxena and Ms. Sunubiya Rehman – graced the event with their presence.
During the program, Dr. Ashok Sir, Dr. Kiran Ma’am, Dr. L.R. Verma Sir, Dr. Anil Sir, and Dr. Lalit Sir shared their valuable thoughts. They emphasized the importance of Crime Scene Investigation, Fingerprinting, and the Toxicity of Poisons for both students and faculty members.
The key activities of the day included a Crime Scene Investigation, Fingerprint Development using Organic Powder, and workshops and competitions based on various types of poisons.
In the competition, the Crime Scene Investigation Workshop secured the first position, while the Fingerprint Development Workshop stood second.
