Future-Ready Education: VAU Hosts Seminar on AI & Emerging Technologies Aligned with NEP-2020

On 4th April 2026, Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur, organized a large-scale seminar on Integration of Future Technologies in Education, reaffirming its commitment to NEP-2020’s vision of skill-based, tech-enabled learning.The seminar underscored the growing role of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, robotics, and digital platforms in reshaping academic delivery.

A key highlight was the launch of the “AI for All” initiative by Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, designed to equip every student with foundational skills in AI, digital literacy, and cybersecurity — essential competencies for the 21st-century workforce.Faculty experts detailed VAU’s diverse academic offerings across medicine, nursing, pharmacy, allied health sciences, forensic science, management, and humanities, with a focus on career pathways and hands-on training at Rohilkhand Hospital.

Participants toured the university’s advanced ecosystem — smart classrooms, digital lecture systems, robotics labs, modern libraries, hostels, and sports facilities — reflecting its emphasis on holistic development.Principals and teachers in attendance appreciated the university’s forward-looking curriculum and NEP-aligned pedagogy that prioritize practical skills over rote learning. The event concluded with interactive discussions and a campus tour, with stakeholders acknowledging that initiatives like “AI for All” will significantly enhance students’ technical readiness and employability in the region.
