NEP-2020 Quiz Program Conducted at Varun Arjun University

The NEP Cell of Varun Arjun University successfully organized a Quiz Program on NEP 2020 initiatives on 18th October 2025. This program aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the National Education Policy 2020, focusing on its core objectives of making education more flexible, multidisciplinary, and skill-oriented.

Students from the Varun Arjun College of Pharmacy and the Department of Forensic Sciences participated enthusiastically, representing various batches. The quiz tested their knowledge on NEP 2020’s reforms in higher education, multiple entry and exit options, interdisciplinary learning, and scholarship schemes. Mr. Yogesh Pratap Singh (B.Pharm 1st Year) secured the first position, while Mr. Ayush Rajput (D.Pharm 2nd Year) and Mr. Aditya Singh Verma (B.Pharm 1st Year) jointly won the second prize. The event was conducted by Mr. Himanshu, a 1st-year B.Pharm student and NEP SAARTHI, under the guidance of Dr. Poornima S. Bhat, NEP Coordinator, VAU.

The initiative received high appreciation from the university leadership. Chancellor Dr. Keshav Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Ashok Agarwal, and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kiran Agarwal commended the students for their active involvement. Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. L.R. Verma encouraged students to continue participating in such knowledge-enhancing activities. Dean & Principal of Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Dr. (Col) R.N. Shukla praised the collaborative spirit and initiative shown by the students, and Deputy Registrar Dr. Anil Pal and Dr. Pradeep Singh, Principal of Varun Arjun College of Pharmacy, appreciated the efforts of the students in promoting awareness about NEP 2020 and motivating their peers to actively engage with educational reforms. The event successfully created awareness about NEP 2020 and fostered a spirit of curiosity, learning, and participation among the students of Varun Arjun University.
