Varun Arjun College of Pharmacy, Banthra, Shahjahanpur, successfully organized a “Best Out of Waste” Competition and a Tree Plantation Drive to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to showcase their creativity and innovative thinking.
The event witnessed enthusiastic student participation, with students transforming discarded and waste materials into attractive, useful, and decorative items. Through this activity, the participants highlighted the importance of recycling and sustainable resource utilization while demonstrating their artistic and creative skills.
Following the competition, a tree plantation drive was conducted within the college campus. Students and faculty members actively participated by planting saplings and reaffirming their commitment to environmental conservation. The initiative also conveyed a strong message to the community about the importance of planting more trees and adopting environmentally responsible practices.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Pradeep Singh, Principal of Varun Arjun College of Pharmacy, emphasized the significance of environmental conservation and appreciated the efforts of all the participants. He stated that such activities help cultivate social responsibility, creative thinking, and environmental consciousness among students.
