Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, Shahjahanpur, under Varun Arjun University, organized a free orthopaedic health camp at the Nagar Palika Town Hall, Tilhar, Shahjahanpur, on Sunday, September 6, 2026. During the camp, patients were provided free medical consultation and examination.
Free blood pressure and blood sugar tests were also conducted for the patients. Medicines and medical advice were provided free of cost. Discount coupons for various diagnostic tests, CT scans, and MRI services were distributed to the patients.
Medical PRO of the Medical College, Raisuddin, said that such free medical camps will continue to be organized every Sunday so that people from all sections of society can benefit from accessible and affordable healthcare services.
He also informed the public about the facilities available in the Orthopaedics Department, including treatment for arthritis, joint pain, back pain, sciatica, leg weakness, numbness and tingling, neck and spinal pain, congenital deformities of the hands and legs, bone infections, bone tuberculosis, and cases involving discharge of pus from infected bones. The hospital also provides knee and hip replacement, plaster and surgical treatment for all types of fractures, along with operation and ICU facilities at affordable rates.
Information regarding the Family Health Card was also provided. The card is available for ₹200 and remains valid for one year. Cardholders receive a free OPD registration slip and 20% discount on medicines and diagnostic tests. In case of hospitalization, the admission file is prepared free of cost, with a 20% discount on medicines.
Orthopaedic specialist Dr. Abhinav Bedi, along with his medical team, paramedical staff, and Medical PRO Raisuddin, were present at the camp.
