Varun Arjun University, Varun Arjun Medical College, and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra (Shahjahanpur), successfully organized a free General Medicine and Eye Care Medical Camp at the Municipal Town Hall, Tilhar, on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The camp was conducted with the objective of providing quality healthcare services and medical guidance to the local community.
A large number of patients participated in the camp and received free health check-ups, consultations, and medical advice from specialist doctors. Free blood pressure and blood sugar tests were conducted, and necessary medicines were distributed to patients. Diagnostic discount coupons for CT scans and MRI tests were also provided to support affordable healthcare.
Patients visiting Rohilkhand Hospital after the camp will receive free CBC, KFT, LFT, and ECG tests. The hospital provides affordable facilities for TMT, echocardiography, and other investigations, along with discounts on advanced diagnostic services. Cataract patients identified during the eye care camp will be provided free cataract surgery at Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra. The hospital also offers a Family Health Card facility at a nominal cost of ₹200, valid for one year.
The camp was led by General Medicine Specialist Dr. Nachiket and Eye Specialist Dr. Chinmay Patil, along with paramedical staff. Raisuddin, PRO of Varun Arjun Medical College, was present during the camp and contributed to its successful organization.
