Varun Arjun University, Varun Arjun Medical College, and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, Shahjahanpur, organized a Free Orthopedic Health Camp on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the Urban Health Centre, Lalpur, Kanth Road, Shahjahanpur. The initiative was undertaken to provide quality orthopedic healthcare services to the local community and to promote awareness about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of bone and joint disorders.
A total of 110 patients registered for the camp, and all of them received free orthopedic consultations and medical examinations. As part of the health screening program, 40 patients underwent free blood pressure checks, while 28 patients received free blood sugar tests. Furthermore, 98 patients were provided with free medicines according to their medical requirements. To help patients access affordable diagnostic services, the organizers also distributed discount coupons for laboratory investigations, CT scans, and MRI scans.
During the camp, the medical team educated visitors about the comprehensive orthopedic services available at Rohilkhand Hospital. These include treatment for arthritis, joint pain, back pain, sciatica, neck pain, spinal disorders, numbness and weakness in the legs, tingling sensations, congenital deformities of the hands and feet, bone infections, bone tuberculosis, chronic discharging bone infections, fracture management through plaster and surgery, knee and hip replacement surgeries, as well as advanced surgical care and ICU facilities at affordable costs.
The hospital also introduced its Family Health Card, available for ₹200 and valid for one year. Cardholders receive free OPD registration, 20% discounts on medicines and diagnostic investigations, a free admission file during hospitalization, and additional discounts on prescribed medicines, making quality healthcare more accessible and economical for families.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Orthopedic Specialist Dr. Omkar, along with his dedicated medical team, paramedical staff, and Medical PRO Mr. Vipin Sharma from Varun Arjun Medical College. The successful event reflected the institutions’ continued commitment to community healthcare by delivering affordable medical services, promoting preventive health awareness, and ensuring that specialized orthopedic care reaches people at the grassroots level.
