Varun Arjun University, Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, Shahjahanpur organized a Free Health Camp in Village Madhora, Jaitipur area on Sunday.
A total of 397 patients registered during the camp. Among them, 07 patients were diagnosed with cataract and their surgeries will be conducted free of cost at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra.
In the camp, free blood sugar tests were conducted for 96 patients and blood pressure check-ups were done for approximately 125 patients. Free medicines and eye drops were distributed to 367 patients. Discount coupons for MRI, CT Scan and other diagnostic tests were also distributed to the attendees.
The medical team and PRO of the hospital spread awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups. They also provided information about the Family Health Card, which is issued by the hospital for ₹200 and is valid for one year. Patients were informed that with the Family Health Card, OPD registration will be free, and they will get an additional 20% discount on medicines and all investigations. Admission file charges will be waived for admitted patients. Cardholders will also receive 25% discount on general surgeries and 10% discount in case of blood transfusion.
The PRO further informed that the hospital provides free admission, free bed, free nursing care and free medical consultation for patients. Facilities like all types of surgeries, affordable medicines, ICU, ventilator, dialysis, MRI, CT Scan, ultrasound etc. are available 24 hours at economical rates.
The camp received special support from Veerpal Singh, Village Head, and Brijesh Mishra.
Doctors present included Dr. Mansu from Eye Department, Dr. Manaswita from General Medicine, Dr. Vipin Khandelwal from Orthopedics, Dr. Rishika Kumawat from Pediatrics, Dr. Bindu from Gynecology and Obstetrics, and Dr. Priya Mishra from Dental Department. PROs Vipin Sharma and Atul Gangwar along with paramedical staff were also present to ensure the smooth conduct of the camp.
