Dr. Vanshika Singhal, 2nd-year Post Graduate Resident, Department of ENT, secured the 2nd Prize in the Post Graduate Award Paper Presentation at the 42nd Annual State Conference of the UP Chapter of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (UPAOICON 2025), held at Rohilkhand Medical College, Bareilly from 19th-21st September 2025.
She presented her research paper titled “A Study to Evaluate the Effectiveness of a Skull Model in Nasopharyngeal Swab Training of Undergraduate Students” under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Poornima S. Bhat, Department of ENT.
The Chancellor of Varun Arjun University, Dr. Keshav Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor of VAU Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor of BIU, Bareilly, Dr. Lata Agarwal, and Vice-Chancellor of VAU, Dr. Kiran Agrawal congratulated Dr. Vanshika on her success and encouraged all postgraduate students to actively participate in research and embrace the importance of lifelong learning. Pro Vice-Chancellor VAU, Dr. L.R. Verma, also appreciated her remarkable achievement.
The Dean & Principal of VAMC & RH, Dr. (Col.) Ravindranath Shukla, applauded her success and said that active participation in research and innovations is the cornerstone for continuous improvement. The Head of the Department of ENT, Dr. Santhana Krishnan, praised her sincerity, hard work, commitment to academic excellence & patient care, giving due credit to all the faculty members of the department for their training and guidance.
