Quiz Competition Organized for MBBS Students on the Occasion of World Health Day 2026

Shahjahanpur: Under Varun Arjun University, at Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, NH-24, Banthara Shahjahanpur, the Department of Community Medicine organized a grand quiz competition for MBBS students on the occasion of World Health Day to be observed on 7 April 2026.
This program was organized under the aegis of भारतीय निवारक एवं सामाजिक चिकित्सा संघ (IAPSM) – ABC State Chapter. The theme of the program was “Together for Health: Stand with Science,” aimed at promoting awareness about public health among students and encouraging a scientific approach.
The college-level elimination round of this competition was successfully conducted on 18 March 2026, in which students from MBBS batches 2023–24 and 2024–25 participated enthusiastically. The selected participants will compete in the college-level final round to be held on 25 March 2026.
During the event, Head of the Department and Professor Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Gupta, Dr. Purva Shoor, Dr. Ajay Agarwal, Dr. Vinayak H. Kashyap, Dr. Aditya Prakash Singh, and Dr. Atul Saxena, along with tutors, PGs, and other staff members of the department, were present. All of them encouraged the students and appreciated such academic activities.
In the quiz competition, students demonstrated their knowledge by answering questions related to public health, disease prevention, immunization, epidemiology, and health policies. The program was successfully conducted by the department faculty and staff.
The event proved to be informative and inspiring for the students and motivated them to adopt a scientific approach in the field of health.
