The Induction Ceremony for the new MBBS batch 2025–26 at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, under Varun Arjun University, was held on November 20, 2025, with great enthusiasm and dignity. The event took place in the main auditorium in the presence of students, parents, and distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Mr. Rajesh Dwivedi, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Shahjahanpur.
The ceremony began with a traditional lamp-lighting before the idol of Goddess Saraswati, accompanied by a soulful Saraswati Vandana by second-year MBBS students. University dignitaries such as Chancellor Dr. Keshav Kumar Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Ashok Kumar Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kiran Agarwal, and BIU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Lata Agarwal, along with Principal and Dean Dr. (Col) Ravindra Nath Shukla, inaugurated the event. The Chief Guest emphasized integrity, discipline, and empathy as essential traits of a doctor, urging students to learn not only from books but also from their patients’ experiences.Chancellor Dr. Keshav Kumar Agarwal and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Ashok Kumar Agarwal inspired students to view medicine as a lifelong commitment to humanity rather than a mere career choice. Principal and Dean of the medical college Dr. (Col) Ravindra Nath Shukla provided crucial information about college facilities, discipline, and clinical training opportunities, while Medical Superintendent Dr. Pandit Shyamrao Pawar introduced the hospital’s patient care structure. The ceremony was smoothly organized under the guidance of Dr. Prasad and anchored by Dr. Soumya Shukla, who also briefed students on hostel and safety regulations, and also saw the presence of Vice Principal Dr. Santhana Krishnan, All HODs, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, faculty members, Administrative Officer Mr. Lalit Kumar Chauhan, Principal Office Administrator Siddhant Gangwar, and Media & Marketing Head Sachin Chauhan, students, and their families made the event both memorable and inspiring, marking the beginning of a promising journey for future doctors at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital.
