Empowering Health, Enriching Lives: Free Health Check-up Camp at The Renaissance Academy, Tilhar

Under Varun Arjun University, Banthra–Shahjahanpur, the Department of Community Medicine of Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital organized a free student health check-up camp at The Renaissance Academy, Tilhar. Held on October 16, 2025, the camp witnessed the participation of 275 students who underwent general health, eye, dental, and ENT examinations. Expert doctors provided essential medical consultations and distributed free medicines to those in need. Led by Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Gupta, the camp also emphasized the importance of hygiene, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise for students’ overall well-being.

Doctors from various departments and nursing staff actively participated in the camp. Specialists from Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Dentistry departments offered practical health advice, while the nursing team demonstrated proper handwashing techniques and shared useful hygiene information. On this occasion, The Renaissance Academy Chairman Dr. Alok Agarwal and Principal Mr. Surendra Singh appreciated the efforts of the Varun Arjun Medical College team, stating that such initiatives not only enhance students’ health awareness but also inspire them to become responsible citizens.

The university’s senior management — Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Keshav Kumar Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Ashok Kumar Agarwal, and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kiran Agarwal — jointly remarked that “health is the true wealth of education.” They emphasized that the university is committed to the holistic development of its students and will continue organizing such social and health-promoting programs in the future. The camp was successfully coordinated by the Department of Community Medicine, and at the conclusion, students expressed gratitude to the doctors and university administration, noting that the camp inspired them to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
