Empowering Women, Eradicating Ragging: Varun Arjun University’s Mission Shakti – Phase 5.0

Varun Arjun University, Banthra-Shahjahanpur organized an “Anti-Ragging and Women Empowerment” program on October 16, 2025, under the “Mission Shakti – Phase 5.0” campaign. The event, held at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, was specially arranged for DMLT and D. X-Ray students, focusing on developing a sense of social responsibility, equality, and self-reliance among them. Students enthusiastically participated in poster making, slogan writing, and caption writing competitions, which encouraged creativity and social awareness. The winners were honored with certificates of appreciation.

Teachers and organizers emphasized the importance of moral values, discipline, and cooperation during the event. Dr. Shivani Gupta and Dr. Neha Gupta highlighted the need for confidence, safety, and self-dependence among women, while also stressing the significance of social awareness in eliminating evils like ragging. Media and Marketing Cell In-charge, Mr. Sachin Chauhan, spoke about how such events help in building leadership skills and nurturing positive thinking among students.

Through posters, slogans, and captions, students conveyed the message that women’s empowerment and a ragging-free campus are possible not only through policies but through awareness and sensitivity. The university management also motivated students and reaffirmed its commitment to their holistic development.

The program concluded in a joyful atmosphere, with all participants taking a collective pledge for a ragging-free campus and respect for women. The event became more than just a competition — it turned into a meaningful experience that inspired students to become responsible citizens and agents of positive change in society.
