Free Health Camp Organized by Varun Arjun Medical College

Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, Shahjahanpur, organized a free health camp on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the village Dhadhel in the Pasgawan area of Lakhimpur Kheri district.
Dr. Pandit Shyama Rao Pawar, the Medical Superintendent, stated that they will continue to organize such free camps in the future to benefit all sections of society, emphasizing the motto “Service to man is service to God“.

Key Highlights:

  • Total Registrations: 749 patients.
  • Cataract Cases: 35 patients were diagnosed with cataracts; their surgeries will be performed for free at the hospital.
  • Free Screenings:
  • Bone Density (BMD): 48 patients.
  • Cardiac Check-up (ECG): 71 patients.
  • Blood Sugar: 157 patients.
  • Blood Pressure: Approx. 198 patients.
  • Benefits: All patients received free medicines and discount coupons for MRI, CT scan, and other tests.

The health team promoted regular check-ups and informed people about the Family Health Card, available for ₹200 (valid for 1 year). This card provides:

  • Free OPD slips.
  • 20% extra discount on medicines and all tests.
  • Free admission file.
  • 25% discount on general surgeries and 10% on blood requirements.

The hospital also offers free admission, bed, nursing care, and consultation for patients, with all operations, pharmacy, ICU, ventilator, dialysis, MRI, CT scan, and ultrasound facilities available 24/7 at affordable rates. Social worker Atar Singh Yadav made a special contribution to the camp.
