The MBBS students of Varun Arjun Medical College (VAMC) & Rohilkhand Hospital (RH), Shahjahanpur, under Varun Arjun University (VAU), UP, participated in a Marathon Run organized on 7th December 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Mohd Shadab, Sports Incharge, and Mr. Aman Awasthi, Sports Teacher. The event was efficiently managed by the Organizing Committee of the 2023 batch, ensuring smooth coordination, proper arrangements, and disciplined execution throughout the programme.
The marathon witnessed energetic participation from students, who showcased their stamina, determination, and enthusiasm while highlighting the importance of physical fitness and endurance. Students ran with great zeal and sportsman spirit, motivating one another and demonstrating unity and team strength on the track. Winners were felicitated for their outstanding performance, and all participants were appreciated for their sincere effort and commitment.
The event was organized with the constant encouragement, guidance, and support of the college management of VAU, including Dr. Keshav Agarwal, Chancellor VAU; Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor VAU; Dr. Lata Agarwal, Vice Chancellor of Bareilly International University; and Dr. Kiran Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor, VAU.
Dr. (Col) R. N. Shukla, Dean and Principal, personally motivated the students, appreciated their discipline, and congratulated the organizing committee for their dedication and teamwork in conducting the event successfully.
Special encouragement from Dr. Thimmaraju KV, Head of the Department of Biochemistry, further boosted the morale of the participants, inspiring them to perform with confidence and sportsmanship.
