Mission Shakti 5.0: Daughters’ Secure Golden Future

Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur, hosted a pivotal Mission Shakti Phase 5.0 awareness lecture on UP Government’s women empowerment schemes. Students from Nursing, Law, Science, Arts, Commerce, faculty, and sister colleges united for this transformative event.

Dr. Shivani Gupta, Mission Shakti Nodal Officer, proclaimed it a revolutionary movement for women’s safety (Suraksha), respect (Samman), and self-reliance (Swavalamban). Phase 5.0 targets campus outreach, rural drives, helpdesks, and digital redressal.Spotlight schemes: Kanya Sumangala, Single Female Child Education Scholarship (UG-PhD aid for meritorious only daughters), CM Kanya Vivah, SHGs, ODOP, Udyam Sakhi. Helplines 181, 112, 1090, 108 deliver 24/7 police, medical, legal, shelter support.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Kiran Agarwal revealed the university’s Grievance Redressal Committee, resolving harassment cases confidentially in 72 hours. Success stories of entrepreneurs and scholars inspired attendees.Interactive sessions clarified applications; students urged as “Awareness Ambassadors.” Upcoming: self-defense, cyber safety workshops, campus helpdesk. This bridges policy and education, empowering UP’s daughters for a brighter tomorrow.
