Mission Shakti 5.0: Empowering Voices Through Creativity

Varun Arjun University, Banthra, Shahjahanpur hosted an inspiring Essay and Poster Competition under Mission Shakti – Phase 5.0, organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The event aimed to promote women empowerment, social awareness, and creative expression among students, who presented impactful ideas on topics like women’s role in society, education, safety, and health awareness.

The ceremony was graced by Dr. Lekh Raj Verma (Pro Vice-Chancellor), Dr. Anil Kumar Pal (Deputy Registrar), Dr. (Col.) Ravindra Nath Shukla (Principal & Dean), and Dr. Pradeep Singh (Principal, College of Pharmacy). Led by Mission Shakti Nodal Officer Dr. Shivani Gupta, the event saw 60 students participate in the essay competition and 50 in the poster competition.Ms. Bhavna Devi (B.Pharma 1st year) won first place in essays for her compelling work on education and self-reliance in women empowerment. Mr. Aryaveer Singh (B.Pharma 1st year), Ms. Anjali (D.Pharma 1st year), and Mr. Mohammad Akif (B.Pharma 1st year) jointly secured first place in poster making with creative depictions of “Educated Women – Empowered Nation” and “Role of Pharmacists in Health Awareness”.University leaders praised the competition as a platform for leadership, creativity, and social responsibility. Coordination by Ms. Mansi Agarwal, Ms. Nisha Rajput, and Ms. Sushmita Singh ensured discipline and quality throughout.

The event stood as a testament to empowerment through education, reflecting the university’s commitment to developing confident, socially aware, and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
