Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital Host CME on “One Nation, One Health”

A Continuing Medical Education (CME) program focusing on the national theme “One Nation, One Health” was conducted today at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra. The event was organized by the Department of Community Medicine under the guidance of Professor & HOD Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Gupta.
The program witnessed the esteemed presence of Dean Dr. Col. R.N. Shukla, who inaugurated the session and shared valuable insights on the evolving landscape of public health in India. He was joined by Dr.Poornima ENT Professor, IQAC head and Dr. P.S Powar (M.S.), Deputy M.S. Dr. Amit, Hospital Administrative In-charge Mr. Lalit, and Dr. Shivani Gupta, who all addressed the gathering and interacted with students.
Distinguished Guests & Academic Excellence
The CME featured renowned academicians including:
Dr. V.K. Agrawal, Dean, Rajshree Medical College
Dr. Sazid Hussain, Professor & Head, Madhubani Medical College
Dr. Mohd. Intekhab Alam, Professor, Varun Arjun Medical College
Their lectures enriched the participants with diverse perspectives on community health, healthcare integration, and national health strategies.
Student Participation & Cultural Inauguration
The UG students of the college prepared poster presentations and a welcoming rangoli, adding color and creativity to the event. The program commenced with a soulful recital of Saraswati Vandana, performed by UG students, setting a devotional and inspiring tone.
Postgraduate Representation
Postgraduate residents from Community Medicine who actively took part included: Dr. Arsalan, Dr. Raghav, Dr. Anam, Dr. Charandeep, and Dr. Danish, along with Non-PG Junior Resident Dr. Afzal.
Their involvement contributed significantly to the academic discussions and interactive sessions.

A Step Toward a Healthier Nation
The CME successfully fostered awareness and collaboration among faculty, PGs, and UG students—emphasizing the collective responsibility toward achieving the vision of “One Nation, One Health.”
