A free Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) medical camp was organized by Varun Arjun Medical College (VAMC) & Rohilkhand Hospital (RH), under Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur at the Municipal Town Hall, Tilhar, on Sunday, 26 July 2026. The camp aimed to provide quality healthcare services and spread awareness about ENT-related diseases among the local community.
During the camp, patients received free medical consultations and comprehensive ENT examinations by specialist doctors. Free blood pressure and blood sugar tests were conducted, and essential medicines were distributed without charge. Patients were also provided with expert medical advice along with discount coupons for diagnostic investigations, including CT scans and MRI scans.
The hospital announced that patients referred from the camp to Rohilkhand Hospital would also receive free laboratory investigations such as CBC, Liver Function Test (LFT), Kidney Function Test (KFT), and blood sugar tests. In addition, the hospital informed visitors about its Family Health Card, available for just ₹200, which remains valid for one year and offers various healthcare benefits.
Doctors and the Public Relations Officer encouraged people to undergo regular health check-ups and informed them about the advanced facilities available in the hospital’s ENT Department. Treatment and surgical services are available at affordable costs for conditions such as ear discharge, hearing loss, thyroid swelling (goitre), nosebleeds, nasal blockage, deviated nasal septum, sinus disease, enlarged tonsils, voice disorders, and throat cancer. The department also offers endoscopic examination of the ear, nose, and throat, along with hearing assessment through audiometry.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Mohit Kumar, ENT Specialist, with the support of the paramedical staff and Medical College Public Relations Officer Raisuddin.
