Shahjahanpur, July 28, 2026: Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, Shahjahanpur, under Varun Arjun University, organized a free health camp on Tuesday in Hasanapur village of the Khudaganj region. The initiative aimed to provide quality healthcare services to rural residents and promote awareness about preventive healthcare.
A total of 497 patients registered for medical consultation during the camp. Screening identified 10 cataract patients, who will receive free cataract surgery at Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra. The medical team conducted free blood sugar tests for 105 patients and blood pressure examinations for around 140 patients. Additionally, 415 patients were provided with free medicines and eye drops, while discount coupons for MRI, CT Scan, and other diagnostic investigations were also distributed.
Doctors and the Public Relations Officer (PRO) educated villagers on the importance of regular health check-ups and introduced the hospital’s Family Health Card, available for ₹200 and valid for one year. Cardholders receive free OPD registration, an additional 20% discount on medicines and diagnostic tests, free admission files, 25% discount on general surgeries, and 10% discount on blood requirements.
The PRO also informed attendees about the hospital’s facilities, including free admission, free hospital beds, free nursing care, and free medical consultation. Affordable 24-hour services such as ICU, ventilator support, dialysis, MRI, CT Scan, ultrasound, and various surgical procedures are also available.
The health camp was successfully supported by Ram Kishore Singh, Rinku Singh, and Brajesh Mishra. The medical team included Dr. Neha (Ophthalmology), Dr. Nachiket (General Medicine), Dr. Rohit (Orthopedics), Dr. Khushboo (Pediatrics), Dr. Sugandha (Obstetrics & Gynecology), Dr. Madeha Umar (Dentistry), PRO Vipin Sharma, and the paramedical staff.
