Under Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur and in collaboration with Varun Arjun Medical College, Rohilkhand Hospital, and National Medicos Organisation (NMO), a free health and medical camp was successfully organized on Sunday, 12 April 2026, in Village Karaunda of the Madanapur region under the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Health Service Yatra.”
The healthcare team was flagged off by Shri Ravi Ji, Department Pracharak. A total of 368 patients registered and received free medical consultations and health check-ups during the camp. Cataracts were diagnosed in 10 patients, whose surgeries will be conducted free of cost at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra.
The camp also provided free blood sugar testing for 120 patients and blood pressure check-ups for nearly 140 individuals. Free eye-drop medicines were distributed to 315 patients, while discount coupons for MRI, CT scan, and other diagnostic tests were also provided.
The medical and PRO teams created awareness among villagers regarding regular health check-ups and informed them about the Family Health Card facility offered by the hospital for ₹200 with one-year validity. The card provides benefits such as free OPD registration, additional discounts on medicines and diagnostic tests, free admission files, and concessions on surgeries and blood-related services.
The hospital further informed attendees about its affordable and round-the-clock healthcare facilities, including ICU, ventilator support, dialysis, MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, surgeries, nursing care, and medical consultation services.
The camp received special support from social worker Vinay Dwivedi and village head Haripal Singh. Specialist doctors including Dr. Chinmay Patil, Dr. Nimit Saxena, Dr. Aman Raghav, Dr. Riya Maheshwari, Dr. Sweta Tiwari, along with PRO Vipin Sharma and paramedical staff, were present and actively participated in the camp.
