Banthra, Shahjahanpur July 30,2026 ie.on Thursday, Varun Arjun College of Pharmacy organized a grand orientation programme to welcome newly admitted students of the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) programmes. The event began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana in the presence of senior university officials and distinguished guests.
The inauguration was led by Dr. Keshav Kumar Agarwal, Chancellor of Varun Arjun University; Dr. Ashok Kumar Agarwal, Pro Chancellor; Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, Registrar; Dr. R. N. Shukla, Dean of Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital; Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Singh, Principal of Varun Arjun College of Pharmacy; Dr. H. G. Bobade, Controller of Examinations; and Dr. Deepak Pachauri, Vice Principal of the Nursing College.
Addressing the students, Dr. Ashok Agarwal described pharmacy as a profession dedicated to serving humanity and stressed the importance of patient care, ethical practice, and the rational use of medicines. Chancellor Dr. Keshav Agarwal encouraged students to embrace research, innovation, and modern technologies to build successful careers in the pharmaceutical sector.
Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Pal highlighted the university’s academic infrastructure, practical training opportunities, and the clinical exposure available through Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital. Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Singh welcomed the students and their parents, introducing them to the college’s academic programmes, advanced laboratories, library facilities, PCI-compliant infrastructure, anti-ragging policies, and placement support.
As part of the programme, students and parents toured the college’s modern laboratories, central library, and Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, gaining firsthand exposure to academic and clinical learning facilities.
The orientation concluded with enthusiastic participation from students, parents, faculty members, and staff, marking the beginning of a promising academic journey.
