Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan 2025

The Department of Pediatrics at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital under Varun Arjun University, organized various activities during the third day event on “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan 2025.” The objective of this campaign was to raise health awareness among mothers and families and to promote the overall development of children.
The program included the following services and activities:
Vaccination Services and Awareness: Dr. Aishwarya provided information to mothers about the importance of the National Immunization Program, timely vaccinations, and their benefits.
Growth Monitoring: Dr. Chirag Kundu assessed the children’s growth using height, weight, and growth charts.
Infant and Child Nutrition Counseling: Dr. Abheeshan Duhan held special sessions on proper breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and balanced nutrition for children aged 0-2 years.
RBSK Screening and Referral: Dr. Aishwarya provided information on screening for childhood diseases, congenital defects, and developmental delays, as well as necessary referrals.
Cold Chain Equipment Demonstration: Dr. Aditya Kumar provided information on the cold chain system and equipment to maintain the quality of vaccines.
This campaign was successfully conducted by Dr. Avinash Lukde, Head of the Department of Pediatrics, all faculty members including Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Roy, Dr. Bhushan Gupta, Dr. Vindhya Srivastava, Dr. Alok Singh, and junior residents Dr. Mayank Yadav, Dr. Yogesh Pathak, and Dr. Rishika Kumawat.
More than 200 female patients and their attendants counselled and availed free medical check-ups facilitates specially provided under Abhiyaan. Rohilkhand Hospital had made more than 100 ABHA id’s under PradhanMantri swasth bharat youjna for the females.
The event was actively attended by Dr. P.S. Pawar Medical Superintendent of Rohilkhand Hospital; Dr. Amit Kumar Singh Deputy Medical Superintendent; Dr. Dharmendra Gupta, H.O.D. of Community Medicine; Mr.Lalit Chauhan Administrative Officer; along with many other senior doctors, the entire team of the Department of Pediatrics, nursing staff, and a large number of students.
